In this edition, the Paris DOJO was the scene of the incorporation of Para Jiu Jitsu and inclusive self-defense, marking a turning point in the history of the event. This opening represents a first step towards greater integration and visibility of these modalities within the international circuit. The general director of the international federation, Joe Thumfart, was present in the French capital to closely follow the development of the tournament and support the evolution of the discipline.
Tribute to Sandra Badie
One of the most emotional moments of the Grand Prix was the tribute to Sandra Badie, a figure remembered for her commitment and generosity. In her honor, a special award was presented to champion Chloé Lalande, highlighting the values that characterize jujitsu and its community.
As has become customary in recent years, after the competition a stage was organized in which the teams could continue to share experiences and techniques on the tatami, promoting exchange and joint learning.
