What Empowerment Means to JJIF

At the Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF), empowerment means giving individuals the tools, confidence, and opportunities to turn challenges into positive action. We believe that victims of social injustice can become advocates for change, using their voices and their experiences to help build a safer and more inclusive world.

Our Approach

Through Ju-Jitsu 4Good, we use the values of martial arts – discipline, respect, resilience, and solidarity – to:

  • Equip vulnerable individuals with life skills and confidence
  • Provide safe spaces for expression and personal growth
  • Transform victims of violence or injustice into leaders and advocates
  • Connect communities through shared values of fairness and respect

Projects & Impact

Fight2Protect

In cooperation with Fight2Protect, JJIF supports initiatives that empower survivors of violence and exploitation. These programs use sport, education, and advocacy to create a global network of change-makers.
