JJIF World No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Championships 2026 Held in Zadar, Croatia

The JJIF World No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Championships 2026 brought together athletes from across the international Ju-Jitsu community in Zadar, Croatia, for a day of high-level competition and sporting excellence.

Held on 22 August at the Sports Center Višnjik – Krešimir Ćosić Sport Hall, the Championship featured competition in the U21, Adults and Masters age divisions.
Organised by the Croatian Ju-Jitsu Federation, the event was delivered with the support of the JJIF event team and officials. The competition was recognised as an international ranking event, with ranking points awarded in accordance with the JJIF Ranking System.
Athletes competed under the JJIF-Jiu-Jitsu Rules Version 2.8 and the JJIF Sporting Code Version 1.2, with all participants expected to uphold the principles of fair play and the JJIF Code of Ethics.

The Championship also reflected JJIF's continued commitment to clean and fair sport. The event was subject to the JJIF Anti-Doping Regulations, with the WADA Code for Doping-Free Sport applied to the competition.

Beyond the competition itself, the Championship provided another opportunity for athletes from different nations and generations to meet on the mat, test themselves against the world's best and represent their national federations on the international stage.

The U21, Adult and Masters divisions highlighted the breadth of the No-Gi discipline within JJIF, bringing together emerging athletes and experienced competitors in a shared World Championship environment.

JJIF extends its appreciation to the Croatian Ju-Jitsu Federation, the Local Organising Committee, referees, officials, volunteers, coaches, national federations and everyone who contributed to the organisation and success of the Championship.

Special recognition goes to the athletes whose dedication, preparation and performances made the 2026 JJIF World No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Championships a memorable international sporting event.

The Championship in Zadar marks another important step in the continued development of No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu within the JJIF community, strengthening international competition and creating new opportunities for athletes across all generations.
