JAI conducted its 2016 Executive Board Meeting at Bangalore, on 21st February 2016 with 100 percent participation of all the 11 Executive Board Members , its Zonal and Regional heads and l Chairpersons of all its National Commissions.
The highlights of this four highly interactive EB meeting , which was followed a sumptuous dinner and a remarkable Karaoke singing challenge, are as under :
1. Resolved to conduct the 2016 National Referee Certification course and the 2016 National Ju -Jitsu Championship in mid August 2016 at Bangalore.
2. Resolved that JAI National Athletes will Participate in the JJAU Regional Beach Games to be held at Sri Lanka in May and in the 5th Asian Beach Games at Vietnam in September.
3. Resolved that JAI Presidency shall ensure the inclusion of Ju Jitsu in the 2016 events of School Games Federation of India and secure its affiliation from the Indian Olympic Association.
4. Resolved that the JAI President shall in due consultation with the Chairman of the National technical Commission Mr Jitendra Kahre, finalize by 31st March 2016 , the publication of the JAI National Ju Jitsu Grading Syllabus for Kyu grades and Black belt Dan grades, under the guidelines set up by the JJIF Board and Technical Commission.
5.Resolved that JAI will endorse and facilitate the future participation of its most talented Jutsukas all future Abu Dhabi Pro Ju-Jitsu events of the UAEJJ.
6. The JAI President then felicitated BJJ athlete Mr. Susovan Ghosh for doing the Nation proud by being the first JAI Jutsuka to win the Bronze medal at the 2015 Abu Dhabi Pro event.
