GENOVA, ITALY – Following the massive success of the recent Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) Grand Prix ranking events, the Local Organising Committee has officially announced the highly anticipated 2027 Edition of the Genoa Open.

Under the continued prestigious patronage of FIJLKAM (Federazione Italiana Judo Lotta Karate Arti Marziali) and Lino Team the world-class tournament is officially scheduled to take place on February 20 and 21, 2027.

A Spectacular New Venue

In an exciting upgrade for athletes and spectators alike, the 2027 competition will break ground at the newly renovated and fully functional Palasport Waterfront Sport Komplex (Waterfront di Levante). Moving from its previous setup, the iconic venue has been completely reimagined under pioneering urban regeneration plans, offering a state-of-the-art arena specifically optimized for elite international sports.

As a crucial fixture on the global Ju-Jitsu calendar, the 2027 Genoa Open will once again bring together hundreds of elite athletes competing across all major JJIF disciplines:
