Mauritius: ADIL DOOKEE is SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR 2025

The Mauritius Ju-Jitsu Federation, (MJJF) is pleased to announce that Adil Dookee has been awarded SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR 2025 (ADULT CATEGORY) at the National Sports Awards. The selection is made from the best performing athletes of the year in all sports.

MJJF had the most nominees with 3 other nominees in youth categories
1. Kilan Gougon
2. Yuveena Hazareesing
3. Emy Waterstone

A testament to the remarkable growth and recognition of Ju-Jitsu under the MJJF in Mauritius under the leadership of Nuvin Proag, President of the Ju-Jitsu African Union.
