Jiu-Jitsu competition at the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 concluded successfully after two days of intense action, bringing together masters athletes from across the globe at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Held on February 12 and 13, the event showcased the technical depth, experience, and competitive spirit of masters Jiu-Jitsu practitioners competing across multiple age groups, weight categories, and belt divisions. The competition featured divisions from white to black belt, with bouts conducted under international Jiu-Jitsu regulations approved by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation and aligned with standards set by the International Masters Games Association (IMGA).
White and blue belt athletes competed on the opening day, while purple, brown, and black belts took to the mats on the second day. Matches were closely contested, with durations adjusted by age category to ensure athlete safety while maintaining competitive intensity.

All athletes completed official weigh-ins prior to competition and adhered to strict uniform, equipment, and belt verification requirements.
