Jiu Jitsu Federation Strengthens Athlete Protection with New Safeguarding Agreement
The Jiu Jitsu International Federation has taken an important step toward ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all members by officially signing a Safeguarding Contract.
The agreement was signed between Panagiotis Theodoropoulos President of the JJIF and Christian Horvath, Safeguarding Officer on 8th of November, 2025 reaffirming the federation’s commitment to the highest standards of safety, respect, and wellbeing across all its programs and events.
The safeguarding framework outlines clear policies and procedures to protect athletes, coaches, officials, and participants from any form of harm or misconduct. It ensures that everyone within the federation understands their responsibilities in creating a positive and inclusive environment for all ages and abilities.
